Do I Need To Be Fit?

One of the most common questions we get here at Total Dojo is “do I have to be fit to start kick boxing?” Some people even say they are going to get fit and then start. But what they don’t yet realise is that kickboxing is a great workout and getting in shape is one of the main reasons people start. You don’t have to start getting fit before you start kick boxing classes. In fact, all of our martial arts lessons are designed to get you in shape and assume no starting level of fitness. There is always someone who has started more out of shape than you.

The key to getting in shape for kickboxing is not pre-kickboxing training but starting kickboxing lessons. All you need to do is take action. We have no entry level fitness requirements.
