Aside from the obvious and well known fitness benefits kick boxing is known to be a great way to get in shape, tone up and lose weight. It is a great way to get ride of the stress of our daily lives, not to mention improving balance, coordination, flexibility and endurance. Kick boxing is a full body work out that will also teach you some basic self defence moves. On top of all this, it is a great way to help you feel more confident and boost your self esteem.

Are Beginners Welcome?
Everyone starts as a beginner. At Total Dojo we welcome people no matter what their level. Our certified coaches combined with a friendly atmosphere means you’ll always feel welcome. Remember the hardest step is always the first one so why not come down and give it a go.
Do I have to be fit?
No matter how fit you are you’ll training to your own level. As you get fitter and fitter you can push yourself further but don’t worry if you aren’t fit to begin with. You’ll find that changes very quickly as our experienced coaches help you get the most out of your training.
What should I wear?
You should wear loose comfortable clothing that you can train in easily. Simple, there is no dress code, although most people will support the club by wearing club clothing once they have joined up.
Do I need any equipment?
No. Total Dojo is fully equipped with everything you need for your free trial. Once you have started training you’ll want to get your own equipment so we have a range of packages in our shop to suit all needs and budgets. Just speak to a member of the team who will be happy to help.
What should I expect from the class?
All of our kickboxing classes are designed to get you to your goals as fast as possible but most importantly you should expect to have some fun! You’ll be learning tried and tested techniques, working up a sweat and meeting new people.
